How to design a low budget, creative and fun loving space for toddlers-13 year olds?
That is the question we were faced with while designing Lacasa Montessori and Daycare Center. The project required a detailed first-hand research into palettes, fonts, enclosures and spatial ergonomics for children.
We repurposed the walls, columns and doors with interactive elements which provides a playful environment. The toned down, colorful palette is simultaneously energetic and soothing.
From designing to execution, it has been a joyful ride, because once you start seeing world through the lens of a child, every corner is full of creative opportunities. Designating each part its own importance to create a homogenous mix is what this particular project was about.
